One question about eyeliner reminded me how much I love Estee Lauder’s Double Wear eye pencils for lining the inner rim (or waterline) of your eyes. Your waterline is a fleshy line of skin, if you gently pull the lower lash line down, it’s right above your lower lashes. For a quick day to night look when I’m rushed, I just apply a darker liner there for instant drama. The problem is that the color often bleeds into your eyes or underneath them, or it just fades out altogether- a common occurrence with most pencils.

I’ve found that Double Wear pencils stay the very best with the prettiest range of shades. Midnight Blue is my fav, but only because I don’t have Black Plum yet. I line both my upper and lower waterlines for a really dramatic effect that lasts and lasts.
