Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask

If instant gratification is your thing, you need the 2008 Best of Sephora winning Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask from Bliss.

Think of it as a little kick to your dull, tired, lifeless skin. It’s a nice departure from a clay mask since it’s so neat and easy and delivers amazing results. Just sweep the gel over your face until it slightly foams, then wait just 5 minutes until the foam has expanded and ran its course before washing away. Oxygen molecules and detoxifiers are released into the skin immediately changing its appearance to be more youthful and awake. Trust me- it really works..

Use up to three times a week morning or night. It’s an absolute must-have for those who might indulge with the occasional cocktail, cigarette or sun-seeker.

Pur Minerals Mineral Mudd Masque

After too many long nights strewn together celebrating the 4th, my skin needed some revitalizing fast. I received this one of a kind masque in a recent offering sent from Pur Minerals, a complete mineral line found at Ulta and Dillards at very reasonable prices.

FIne bits of exfoliating matter are peppered throughout this dense, brown mud which contains pascalite to completely draw out impurities to reveal fresh glowing skin. Since pascalite is supposedly a cure to draw out the venom from a brown recluse spider bite, I thought this might be just the extreme action I needed.

What happened when I used this masque was nothing I’d ever experienced before.

My face felt the usual tightening sensation as with most mud masques, but I began feeling a tightening so great that my lips were being forced open as the mud dried drawing my skin upward and outward. I wanted to laugh at what had become of my face, but the masque was too tight.. At no point did my skin feel a burning sensation or the least bit irritated afterward and the result was so amazing I was wishing I’d taken a before and after. I think I’ve found a new post-weekend ritual.

Philosophy The Microdelivery Peel

Whenever I need really smooth skin where foundation will just glide over looking its freshest, I take a few minutes for a Microdelivery Peel. Philosophy revolutionized the at-home system that brings professional results, and these results are the real deal. You start with the vitamin c crystals which is a really dense mixture of granules in a moisturizing base to buff away the dead skin. Step 2 is using the lactic acid activator which creates a warming sensation on the face while decongesting pores and giving your skin an unbelievable glow. I use it about once a week before I mask, it adds a little oomph to the facial and incredible softness.
