This Cheek Glow from 100% Pure (shown in Soft Pink) is basically a long wearing stain masquerading as a soft, creamy, cheek color. It’s so pigmented that I use just a little dab on the back of my hands then apply it with a buffing brush- and a half pump does the trick. It’s the first of its kind that could be in my kit because it can stand up to all of the sweating and dancing my brides do while still needing to be camera ready for 8+ hours on their wedding day. It’s a professional caliber cream that isn’t so over the top concentrated that it’s difficult to apply. It’s also aloe based and water-free so it really does feel like skincare and like the rest of 100% Pure’s makeup, it’s pigmented using fruit.
Here’s what’s inside:
Aloe Juice
Marula Oil
Illipe Butter
Olive Squalane
Candelilla Wax
May Contain the Following Pigments: Peach, Apricot, Cranberry, Pomegranate, Strawberry, Carrot, Blackberry, Raspberry, Cabernet Grape, Plum, Cherry, Blueberry, and Tomato
Silica
Rice Starch
Honeysuckle Flower Extract
Oregano Extract
Thyme
Cinnamon
Rosemary
I don’t get it. If it’s possible to dye makeup using fruit, while keeping the price in line with most others, why isn’t every company doing this? Why are we still using Carmine especially in lipsticks which just makes me want to gag.
100% Pure also stands behind all of their products and will gladly return them within 30 days- even if it’s used with free shipping both ways (for the return too) which is how it should be when ordering makeup online.
