It’s not lying when I say that I bought Alpyn’s Beauty Plangenius Melt Moisturizer because I thought it was just really pretty. The moisturizer is pink and the packaging looks like room decor that I’d place on a shelf next to a vase. Their story reads like the ultimate in clean beauty: “Sustainably harvested wildcrafted ingredients straight from the mountains of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.” Their plant actives behave on the skin as they do in the wild protecting and strengthening with their resilience.
I picked up a jar a few months ago at AILLEA a clean beauty Mecca that has a few stores here in Colorado. So far, so good. It’s a medium weight whipped moisturizer that feels great on the skin and dries to a matte finish so you don’t have a greasy look. It manages to melt completely in while also having a dense texture that keeps your finger dips in the cream from the last time you used it. It’s elegant, and easy to wear even on my notoriously finicky skin.
Knowing their line is sourced from Jackson Hole WY is a huge reason to love this line. So many ‘natural’ lines source from unknown places (like Etsy! Or websites from overseas. Eeek!) so knowing that this line is truly clean with quality ingredients is a huge plus.
Their whole line looks the same, pink and dreamy, I’ll give their eye balm a try next.
