I’m not one for cleansing cloths, they’re basically glorified baby wipes that don’t clean the skin well at all. In fact, the few times I’ve used them I’ve had to re-wash my face after because they do so little. Kaia Naturals sent me theirs recently and I gotta say, they changed my whole outlook on what a cleansing cloth can do. These bamboo cloths strike a unique balance between gentle and effective. Made in small batches, each one is soaked in vitamins, essential oils, and honey (its second ingredient) which I LOVE for the skin and am currently obsessed with researching and using all the royal jelly and pollen I possibly can. It’s amazing for the skin and really gives it a glow. After using them my face is as throughly cleansed as if I’d gone the traditional cleansing/washcloth route, but it feels so soft from the bamboo which gently exfoliates. They smell like fresh cut citrus, really green and zesty. I put a few in my kit and have been using them on clients to clean and prep the skin, helping the makeup to glide on so easily. I had a chemical peel last week and used only these for a few days afterward to wash and treat my flaky face. It was literally like a soothing drink of juice. Factoring in the results, the price ($15 for 30), and an ingredient list that’s mostly edible, I’ll be ordering more very soon.
