I first learned about Odacité at my fave store Vert right here in Denver. Their system of potent serums especially designed for various skin issues is crazy popular, and not just because each sells for around $35, but because you can add a few drops to any serum or moisturizer you’re already using, to target a specific skin concern like acne, redness, dryness, or sensitivity which are sometimes so short-term that you don’t want to devote a whole new routine to the cause.
Their new Synergie[4] Immediate Skin Perfecting Beauty Masque mask detoxes pores using activated charcoal and clay leaving them clear and blemish-free. It also has a peeling effect using enzymes and fruit acids which saves me a step since I typically use an enzyme peel before a clay mask to breakdown that waxy layer on top of the skin which dulls out brightness and clarity. Vitamin C helps to fade redness and blotchy areas, and you’ll also get a firming effect which you can feel (and actually see) when it’s on and for a while thereafter. It’s such a fun way to mask, and the serums they selected for my skin issues are spot-on perfect and so calming. The light, fluffy clay whips up into almost a mousse, while the experience becomes custom by adding drops of the serums and different mix-ins like apple cider vinegar, milk, and even sugar and juices as recommended in an enclosed ‘recipe card’ that shows different ways to boost the mask into giving your skin what it needs.
Such a cool concept and worth looking into if you’re a mask freak like me. Here’s the serum list (I’d email them if you’re unsure. The Fragile Capilaries isn’t something I would’ve chosen, but they selected it and it’s awesome), and the mask is HERE. If you’re in Denver you can pop into Vert Beauty too, Amanda, Jessica, and the girls there are always so happy to help.
(No affiliate links are included, the mask was sent over by the company and I liked it enough to pass it along.)
