I posted a while back on using pill boxes for lipsticks and what a space saver that is, especially when you realize that mixing a few lipsticks to make the perfect shade is much easier when they’re all laid out for you in this way.
A quick trip into an arts and crafts store can provide easy travel and everyday storage options for most of your makeup and skincare. Pictured bottom left is a pot I filled with a mineral foundation that was once a in compact form. Rather than letting it continue to spill out everywhere and in lieu of tossing it altogether, it’s now more portable and works just as well.
Two 6 well containers down the middle of the photo were found at a Bass Pro Shop as storage for fly fishing, but $2 later they house lip glosses and cream eye shadows.
Squeeze your eye cream, moisturizer, exfoliant, cleanser, and other cream based skincare favs into these twist on pots (upper right corner) and you’ve managed to seriously condense bulky bottles into one carry-on friendly item.
Just a few dollars, a little extra planning, and some creativity can save you time and money in both your daily, and travel routines.

I found the pots at Walgreens buy the pill boxes, but you can find them at craft stores like Michael’s and also M.A.C carries them too.
I love it! What a great way to carry so much in such little spaces. Thank you!
Where can I find the twist on pots?? I love that idea!!!
