Whenever something de-throwns something else I’ve used for a long time, it’s worth noting. Only when I ran out of my Moroccan Oil did I finally use this DermOrganic Leave-In Treatment sample that I’d neglected for so long. It’s a mix of argan, grape and sunflower oils, and vitamin e blended with silicones that feels light and keeps my hair soft and grease-free. Best yet is the price- $25 for 4oz versus the $43 for 3.4oz I was paying for MO.
What I don’t love is that it isn’t organic and it contains more silicones than argan (it’s a 4 on CosmeticsDatabase) but I do like how it makes my hair feel. (Sidenote: it’s really hard to track down Moroccan Oil’s ingredients so I have nothing concrete to compare it to.) If silicones aren’t something you’re concerned about, it’s worth checking out next time you’re at Ulta if you’re tired of paying the high price for Moroccan Oil.
Argan oil can not only be used as leave-in conditioner, but as an ideal hair loss treatment product.
