Every once in a while you come across something by accident that you can’t believe you ever lived without, I feel exactly that way about Dr. Bronner’s liquid soap. Dr. Bronner was a third generation soap maker who formulated natural, organic soaps in the 1940’s when most formulas were switching to harsh surfactants and chemicals.
These soaps are made with fewer than 10 ingredients and can be used on anything from laundry to hair to (yes it states this on the bottle) dentures- we use it for hand soap. Within days I didn’t have to use lotion right after I washed my hands and the cracking and bleeding my husband had on his hands just went away. We use the eucalyptus and peppermint but I love the almond sent the best. It’s about $10 for 16oz which fills up a few hand soap despensers and Whole Foods sells the entire line.
