Ever since the late 09′ arrival of Tom Pecheux as Lauder’s Creative Makeup Director you can tell that the company has gotten more creative when it comes to color. Pure Color Night is a three piece collection that’s causing quite a stir because it’s available only in Paris (with a very limited release at Bergdorf Goodman in NYC, and Selfridges in London).
Everything about the collection is special, down to the engraved packaging. If you’re lucky enough to find it, you’ll enjoy their uniquely textured Pure Color Ombre Effect EyeShadow in Naughty Black which has 3 brown and black shades with 3 different effects to create a smoldering eye. I’d first grab their Pure Color Luminous Powder to highlight and add a glow to the skin that’s sexy and versatile. Of course most women’s go-to will be the Pure Color Lip Gelée in the universally flattering shade Kiss Me, a nude rose with a wet look and a glassy finish.
