Facial contouring was really popularized in Kevyn Aucoin’s best selling book Making Faces in the 90’s. There are several ways to do it, this is probably the best way for non pros who would like the appearance of higher cheekbones while highlighting the face and using what we already own. The constants of the look will always be; a light or translucent powder (where to apply shown) and a darker cheek color in the hollow of the cheek with a lighter one above that applied as usual. It’s a simple roadmap to the look which is great for photos and special occasion to really make your face pop.
