On the occasion when you need a little more pop to your eyes, go ahead and use the darker shades you usually shy away from. It’s not as much about the shades you use, as it is where you place them and how they’re blended. Most eye shapes can mimic the pattern I used in the video, keep the color lower on the lid just into and slightly above the eyes crease, and accent using the deepest color on the outer corner of the lid.
Everything I used to create the look is below, but my favorite thing I’ve recently received and used for the video, is the Pixi Eye Beauty Kit in No9 Smokey. It’s been a while since I was blown away by not only the formula of the intense and vibrant shadows, but the colors and sleek packaging as well. Best of all…. it’s at Target. I was just at Target today and this palette was sold out. Get them while they’re available!
