I know, being an ‘artist’ I’m not supposed to love mineral lines, I’m sure you’ve had your mineral inquiries at cosmetics superstores met with plenty of eye rolls- but I love ’em. Case in point- Jane Iredale’s Cream-To-Powder eyeliner. There are 4 pallets of plumbs, browns, black which includes a navy-ish and a light grey, and jewel box with 4 distinctly colorful yet wearable shades.
There aren’t many days I don’t use them because the creamy formula is really easy to work with and they last all day without smudging. You definitely want to use a dense flat tipped lining brush and press the color right along the upper side, or as I do, the lower side of the top lash line. If your budget doesn’t allow for all 4, choose the plumbs. You can match it with most shadows and the slight pickup in color really enhances all eye shades. Severe dark circles? Avoid plumbs and go with the brown or black.
