Search #MakeupGeek on IG and you’ll find over 600k photos highlighting the cult fave line that everyone seems to be using. I gave into the hype and ordered 6 Makeup Geek shadows over the summer- at $6 a pop, why wouldn’t I? What I got was some of the most pigmented and blendable shadows I’ve ever used. They all landed in my kit where they quickly became my go-to faves making my other shadows seem chalky and dated.
Their color range and finishes (from matte to Duochrome) provides makeup novices and pros alike with options to suit them. You can put together a neutral palette for everyday that’s on the tame side, or something more dramatic using fun shades you don’t have already. Either way, with MUG around, there isn’t a reason anyone should settle for M.A.C’s chalky, overpriced shadows that I’ve never loved.
If you’re shadow shopping, check them out and search #MakeupGeek to get inspired.
