Moroccan Oil is sold out everywhere, but you can get it online at Folica.com (click below) for 13% less than you’d pay in store, that is, if you could actually find it in a store. Meanwhile, I’m on the hunt for straight Argan oil, its key ingredient to see how it works alone. I’m sure I’ll break down and buy it (along with everyone else) at some point.
Anyone used it? Thoughts?

I haven't yet tried the oil, but I've heard so many good things about it that I'm kicking myself for not joining the bandwagon while I could. I've always been a fan of natural hair care products, despite the fact that some of them are so freakin' expensive. Anybody know where I can get a bottle of the stuff?
I love this stuff, but hate the price. I found Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal, much larger bottle for a pretty good price, and it also has Argan oil in it. I'm interested in the Sally Beauty stuff too, if I ever run out of the Soy Renewal that is. 🙂
i love moroccan oil! i have extremely thin, fine hair and it even makes my hair feel great and helps it style amazing! i use josie marans argan oil on my dry face at night and i love it. i am going to try and order a different brand online though!
re: Jenn's comment above:
I'm glad to hear that. My daughter has colored her hair so much that it feels coarse & dry. I'll have to tell her about this since Nicnacbeauty (another poster) said that it's available at Sally's. Thanks for the heads up!
Ebay!!! $14 with free shipping!!
I wouldn't pay this much for something with silicone in it but I hear it smells really good!
I have to agree on the silicones part. I saw that there were a few of them in there which would of course make hair shiny and feel good, like the shine enhancers we use after styling. But as for repairing? Not so sure.
Shea Terra Organics has pure argan oil. I order it online. LOVE IT!
so even though I love this stuff I have to say that if you look at the ingredients it almost all just silicones- there is almost no argan oil in it. I do like it, however there is nothing in it to justify the price as it is just a silicone serum. Sally beauty now has a generic version which is the same ingredient wise for $8.99
I saw the sally's one but didn't know if the argan oil version was the same.
I need to get out there and look then. This stuff is like crack for people!
Carissa, I think my salon, Thomas & Co in Congress Park carries Moroccan oil. I always get a scalp massage with it at the beginning of my appointment. I also bought some Josie Maran Argan Oil at Sephora in Cherry Creek last week and love it! – Leah
I am dying to try it as well but I haven't gotten around to ordering it yet. I went into Sally's the other day and they have their own version of it. I bought it but I have't tried it yet. link: http://www.sallybeauty.com/moroccan-Treatment/SBS-539400,default,pd.html?cgid=Hair#
I Use Moroccan Oil Love it! i have thick curly hair, i use it in winter for dry frizzy hair as a bi weekly treatment, It Helps Keep your Moisturized & alot less frizzy even in the coldest MA temps. I'll be needing to get some more too.
I can get the Moroccan Oil at Gus Mayer here in Birmingham, AL or their store in TN. GM is an exclusive high high end dept. store (way better than SAKS!!) and at an exclusive private event, there was a bunch on the shelves.
I love Moroccan Oil. I have 2 brand new bottles stashed in my medicine cabinet, since I stocked up the last time I visited my Mom In NY last Spring. I am glad cuz I'd be fretting!
