Fitglow Beauty is this powerhouse cosmetics and skincare line that totally blew me away introducing me to something I never thought I’d find: An incredible natural mascara.
I have to say that their Good Lash Mascara isn’t just good for a natural brand, it’s one of the best mascaras I’ve ever used, period. What sets it apart is the creamy formula which made my new tube of LashBlash feel dry and flaky in comparison. Because it’s so creamy, it just grabs onto lashes so you can easily build fat, long lashes that look tons longer and thicker than you’d ever imagine. I typically use (I’m not kidding) 4+ coats just to get a good lash base, but I can get away with just one using Good Lash. I was so dead tired last night that I *gasp* slept in my makeup but I woke up without even a smudge so I showered and washed my face but left my mascara on, topping it off with a fresh coat with perfect results. It doesn’t smudge or run, but it’s so easy to remove. Best of all it’s paraben, gluten, and cruelty free using natural ingredients like rice bran wax and olive oil. It’s completely worth the $25 price tag considering it’s a safer alternative to something that we use on our eyes, and it’s what you’re paying for Dior and most prestige brands anyway.
Their Good Gloss (Bliss and Joy pictured) are exactly what you want in a gloss, creamy and soft with actual pigment that wears a surprisingly long time. They’re made in a base of castor, coconut, jojoba, and sunflower oils which makes them feel more like a lip treatment than an actual gloss, so I’m I find myself reaching for them instead of a lip balm throughout the day.
Their Mineral Blush (shown in Fresh) is so beautifully pigmented that I had to remove most of what I first streaked on in a total rookie move thinking that it would be another whispy blush that barely shows up on the skin. You typically don’t get rich color with such staying power in a natural formula and the bonus for me is the pressed compact packaging versus the loose powder you get with a mineral formula that can be tricky to apply. I was so excited to try the Mineral Eye Trio which I thought was cracked in transit, but Mike told me later that my girls were ‘playing makeup’ and it was dropped so when I opened it, much of it spilled in a crumbly mess onto the floor. I was able to salvage a chunk of it so I could check out the pigment which was of course in line with the rest of what I’d tried. Pigmented and wears like any traditional formula I’ve tried. Really amazing.
Fitglow is such a chameleon, a natural line that behaves like a high performing professional one. Worth checking out especially if, like me, you’ve been frustrated and disappointed in so many natural formulas you’ve tried.
I am regular visitor, how are you everybody?
