After I review a new fragrance I’m sent, I typically end up giving it away because I only rotate between exactly three perfumes that I’ve worn for years. It’s tough to earn that spot in my bathroom. Once you find that signature scent, you tend to stick with it. But you know what, I think I found a 4th.
Robin McGraw’s Georgia, named for her beloved mother, is this incredible sort of mingling of every fragrance I’ve ever loved. There’s a sweetness to it that isn’t too young or overpowering with an amber warmth peppered in there to keep it from being over the top floral. You know that subtle whiff you get sometimes when you hug someone? Just for a flash you’re like ‘they smell good, I wonder what they’re wearing?’ and then it sort of goes away? This is like that. Subtle, clean, and really lovely. I liked it the first day I wore it but by day 3 I was hooked.
I do a few sprays of the parfum in the morning (and always a little in my hair!) then I keep the hand cream nearby for a little refresh after doing dishes, changing a diaper, or something equally glamorous like that.
