Skin Research Laboratories is sort of having a moment right now. Their targeted treatments for thinning brows, lashes and hair along with something for dull skin focus on a singular solution which I always love to see a product do. I get a little skeptical when something claims to do a million things well because I don’t know if that’s even possible. Not only is it packed with ingredients known to encourage healthy hair growth, it’s all guaranteed for 90 days which makes it worth checking out especially if you’re feeling a little sparse, over-plucked, and under-fluffed.
neuBROW: One of the biggest things I’m asked about it is how to regrow sparse brows. Over-plucking, hormones, and age are all culprits in thinning brows which is not a good look because fuller brows are so youthful and frame the face beautifully. This is one treatment that does actually work using a protein complex, keratin to moisturize, peptides and amino acids to strengthen and improve the look of the hair. Just dot a little of the solution along the brow line where more hair is needed and comb it through using the attached brush. You should see an improvement in a few weeks and don’t forget to take before pics which is so important to actually see the progress being made. It’s so easy to forget what the starting point was with things like this, so pictures are a great way to see if something is working or not.
neuLASH: This lash growth serum works awesome and is safe for the delicate eye area. It’s also enforced with peptides, proteins, vitamins, and sodium hyaluronate to add hydration and softness. I ran out of Latisse and started using this which built my lashes up longer and fuller than Latisse had done before in just a short time. I meet so many women who spend a fortune on lash extensions, or wear false lashes all the time because eyes are the first thing people notice. You use it along your lash line like you would eyeliner, and a little goes a really long way. They say 60 days, but I’d say each tube could last as long as 4 months.
neuHAIR: I’ve been recommending this one to all of my friends who’ve just had a baby and are struggling to get their full hair back. It’s a mousse that you massage into the scalp at night that nourishes with aminos, peptides, biotin, and other nutrients known to encourage hair growth. My hair is finally back to mostly normal after 3 kids, so I gave this to a friend to try after she was still shedding like crazy 3 months post-baby. I tried so many things when my hair fell out with Harper, all were costly, none worked that well. Of course I can’t say that it will work for everyone, but having a money back guarantee sure makes trying it a lot easier.
neuRADIANCE: This skin polisher was my least favorite of the bunch. It’s an exfoliant that does what all of them do which is to scrub off that dead surface layer of skin which is dull and lifeless. You can get this from any exfoliant with ingredients that are better for your skin than this one which had a lot of PEG’s (the first ingredient in fact) along with some other things that aren’t needed for great skin. You can skip it and get something a lot less expensive and just as effective.
