What a crazy fun week filled with outings with the girls (which I post daily on my Instagram! Follow me HERE) and lots of time outside in the long overdue sunshine. On my post the other day I showed you Harper’s new Converse (I think they were around $30 at Foot Locker Kids), which has me obsessed with all things aqua. Along with my necklace and Honest wipes that I keep in my office to wipe down my typically sticky keyboard from tiny hands pounding on it, there’s Kryolan’s Dermacolor Body Cover which I always recommend to people trying to cover tattoos, veins, or any other major skin discolorations. It’s waterproof body makeup that’s very long wearing and doesn’t transfer onto clothing which is why I can use it for a wedding and know that the white dress is safe. I’ve used this for years and it always covers anything I need it to. I had my COOLA
sunscreen sitting out so I could move it to the mudroom so I’d see it when we were heading out somewhere to make sure I put it on myself and the girls. Make sure you keep your sunscreen by the door where you leave so it’s visible and easy to remember. If you don’t see it, you won’t use it.
I was recently sent Hair God to the stars Ken Paves’ You Are Beautiful haircare line, and I have to say that his Volmizing Whip is a must-have. It bulks my hair right up but the really impressive part is how it lasts for days. I wash my hair every 2-3 days and by day 3 my strands are limp and lifeless, but when I use this my hair has the same fullness up until wash day. His Dry Shampoo is also one of the best I’ve tried, really light and gives tons of body without leaving any film or residue. The scent of the line is Aveda-esque which isn’t my favorite, but the products used on wet hair don’t tend to linger which is great if you’re not into scented hair products either.
