Hearing the term ‘lip and cheek stain’ doesn’t exactly rev my engine since I’ve found them to be messy and so quick to dry that they almost always satin in streaks.
The Balm’s latest creation, Stainiac, keeps the too-bright colors and streaking away with a formula that’s subtle and allows for a little drying time before setting. More of a lip gel than a stain, this formula glides on and feels just like a moisturizing chap stick with just a hint of color. Mine is Beauty Queen (pictured), probably the brightest of the 3 color selections but only looks about 2 shades darker than my natural lip color, and lasted for hours throughout the day.
